im not sure about verizon, but ive had a friend ask cingular/att if that is true. They simply said that whoever started that rumor was wrong. The phone companies do not have a database that large to store everybody’s deleted text messages. They said there is no way of tracking down text messages by their content. The only thing that can be seen on statements/online is the phone numbers of the people you text, and even that has to be specially asked for in your statement.

There is no way to read them online. I know w verizon if you have a court order they can go in and get them but only from the last two days because there are so many text and theyre not saved past that. But just requesting them would be a no due to privacy laws.
