Recover Deleted Text Messages

Question by keke: What can I use-other than MSN or yahoo messenger-to send text messages to a mobile phone through the internet?
And what is an SMS message? I want to send messages to my friends with mobile phones, but I don’t have text messaging myself. I’ve seen people do it with yahoo messenger, but that can only be used for certain wireless providers like cingular and sprint, I believe. How can I send a text message to cellular south, centennial, verizon wireless, or other mobile provider customers’ phones through the internet?
